Labrinth - Earthquake ft. Tinie Tempah
by Tezel Hopper
Mise en scene
in this music video the Mise on scene can be seen. for example the costume of the main artist changes in every setting that is shown. this shows the audience that artists is keeping up with the current style ad type of fashion that the audience would wear.
camera work
for camera work this clip uses lots of close ups of the main artist looking straight into the camera when he is singing. the reason why that the artist is looking into the camera whilst he is singing it shows that he is trying to connect to his audience, which then makes the audience think that he is singing directly to them.
also for camera work is that the music video shows a variation of high and low angle shots of the artist. the reason for this is that they want to make the artist stand out to its audience and by doing so it is creating the effect if him having a higher status compared to others as if he is someone of high importance.
editing
from the editing side of this music video it is the most important. this is because editing is a major component to making the music video a final piece. in this music video the editing of the lip syncing in the different locations is used so that they wouldn't need to actually sing the song over and over but so that they can use certain parts from each location through out the music video. also the cuts between each part is important as it tends to cut during the beat and tempo of the music. this allows the music video to flow and go from start to finish with ease.
